Sarah Palin may be on to something. In a recent Facebook post, she blames the extreme environmentalists for causing the BP Oil Rig disaster by forcing oil companies to drill off shore by heavily regulating on-shore drilling. If safe, above ground rigs were options for oil companies, we wouldn’t be as dependent on risky off-shore endeavors, she argues.

Petro Swab De Mexico took delivery of three more new Swab Master Direct Hydraulic drive swabbing machines. All three are equipped with the new Tiger Vision. This brings the total to six Swab Masters.

Moises De Leon states they invested in three more Swab Master Machines because the are far more efficient than chain drive rigs. Maintenance is about half of chain drive rigs. On Wednesday, President Obama reversed a ban on oil drilling off of most U.S. shorelines. This expansion of US drilling could put oil and natural gas platforms along the coastlines of southern Atlantic states, the coasts of Alaska and the eastern Gulf of Mexico.
